Rating: **+ 2003 Chez Ray Pinot Noir, White Salmon Vineyard, Columbia Gorge WA

Original Review, April, 2007: Color is already a light/medium brick red - seems a few years older than it is. It has an intriguing, mid-July-at-the-ocean-beach kind of aroma, hinting unusual fruit. On the palate, it still shows tannins, mid round fruit, and a welcome distinctiveness that does border on oddness.

Updated, September 2008, best thing about it is still the aroma. Ahh, the seashore!
